Interesting Question

Dave Duffy (the publisher of Backwoods Home Magazine, which is a very good mag) has an interesting question on his blog.

My answer is in the comments to Dave's post, although it's a bit circumspect, by choice.

It's an interesting question, though... feel free to comment here or at Dave's blog.

The question Duffy poses has been asked before, and answered. The right to keep and bear arms is a consitutional right. The chances of it being nullified are next to none. As for a mass registration: are you kidding? This is the government we're talking about. These people are so incompetent they can't even find registered sex offenders, immigrants with expired visas, or Osama bin Laden. Does anyone really believe this bunch of blunderers we call leaders could actually confiscate everyone's weapons? It's almost laughable.

What they can do, however, is make criminals out of honest rural people, as an urban elitist posing as a federal judge did. You can check it out here: http://www.rfdamerica.com/features.php
